I have been writing and editing for more than 35 years. I hold a degree in Journalism from Temple University in Philadelphia, where I studied writing for print and broadcast. After graduation, I spent five years with two major HR consulting firms, creating employee communications and editing complex consulting reports. I also designed and led in-house workshops for consultants on writing and self-editing. Following that, I wrote successful grant proposals for numerous educational and literacy nonprofits. Most recently, I have been working with an educational publisher on student and teacher materials, ensuring their accuracy and consistency.

In addition to polishing your text, I can help you distill your writing into reader-friendly, approachable writing, no matter how complex the material. I work with New York Times, AP and Chicago style guides, as you choose. As part of my service, I create a customized style guide to ensure consistency across all your communications. I can also use your existing style guide if you have one.
